👋 I'm Dylan. I am currently working on my Ph.D. at Johns Hopkins University in the Department of Environmental Health and Engineering.
Quick bio:
I was born and raised near Jamestown, New York.
I attended the University of Rochester for college, and graduated with a B.A. in Chemistry and a B.S. in Applied Mathematics in 2016. I then moved to the University of Chicago, and I graduated with an M.S. in Geophysical Sciences in 2018.
I then spent a year as an Applied Data & Governance Fellow at the International Innovation Corps / University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy working on policy impacts projects that focused on health insurance access in India.
I joined the Greenhouse Gas Lab at Johns Hopkins University in January 2020. My current research focuses on quantifying natural and anthropogenic emissions of greenhouse gases and air pollution. To understand trends and patterns in emissions, I utilize atmospheric measurements, computational models, atmospheric models, geostatistical inverse methods, and other data sources.
I'm broadly interested in greenhouse gases, air pollution, atmospheric chemistry, climate change, environmental systems, sustainability, and environmental justice.
